Thank You for 2025

As we come to the close of 2025, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank every member of the AWCI Australia community — our staff, Board, State Advisory Committee members, and all AWCI committee members — for the dedication, time and effort you have given throughout the year.

Many of you contribute in a voluntary capacity, alongside demanding professional and personal commitments. In an era where time is scarce and life continues to accelerate, your willingness to step forward and give back to the industry is not only commendable, it is inspiring. The contribution you make — through meetings, consultation, advocacy, technical input, mentoring and leadership — underpins everything AWCI Australia is able to achieve.

2025 has been a year of momentum and clarity. Together, we have shown that with the right people, a shared purpose and a clear direction, it is possible to change perceptions, lift standards and deliver real outcomes. We have strengthened our voice, sharpened our focus and demonstrated that AWCI Australia is an organisation that leads with intent, credibility and professionalism. None of this happens by chance — it happens because of commitment, collaboration and a genuine belief in the value of our industry.

Our staff have continued to operate with professionalism and resilience, delivering outcomes while navigating change and growing expectations. Our Board has provided steady leadership and governance, ensuring we remain focused on our long-term vision. Our State Advisory Committees and specialist committees have grounded our work in practical industry insight, ensuring our decisions reflect the realities faced by members across the country. Collectively, you have helped shape an organisation that is clearer in its purpose and stronger in its delivery.

You should be proud of what we have achieved this year. We have laid foundations that will continue to support members, elevate standards and strengthen the wall and ceiling industry well into the future. The progress we have made is a direct reflection of the time, thought and care you have invested.

As we move into the holiday season, I encourage you to take the time to rest, reconnect with family and friends, and enjoy everything this period brings. Your contribution has made a difference — not just to AWCI Australia, but to the broader industry we all care deeply about.
