Message from Simon Tengende, CEO of AWCI Australia

    Dear Members & Colleagues,

    It’s an absolute privilege to introduce myself as your new CEO—the third in three years! (They say good things come in threes, right?)

    I’d like to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible work Jeremy and Rob have done before me. Like they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day, or by just one person. Nationalising AWCI is no small feat, but together, I know we can       continue building something great.

Having worked previously in both electrical contractors’ associations as well as the Architects Institute, my sense is we are on the verge of something exciting!

Therefore, I’m calling on all of you to join us at the 76th AWCI Conference. It’s more than just a chance to learn—it’s about mateship and standing by each other in what has been a challenging time for our industry, Australia, and the world at large. Where better to do that than Sea World? So bring a mate (inside or outside the industry), grab a drink, and be part of the start of our journey to becoming a truly national association.
