Welcome to the AWCI Australia Cairns Conference. As we look toward 2026 under the theme Embracing Transitions in a New Era, our industry continues to evolve at pace. Over the past year, AWCI Australia has seen membership growth, stronger national engagement, and meaningful progress in our commitment to supporting contractors and partners across the country.

In 2025, we nationalised our apprentice challenge program and thank Siniat by Etex as our naming rights sponsor for the 2025/2026 program.

In 2026, we continue moving confidently into this new era through two major national initiatives:

• The Blue Card Program, lifting capability and closing the skills & knowledge gap,
• Mission 1000, our national membership and industry activation campaign.

The 2026 Cairns Conference has been designed to elevate contractor engagement and partner visibility, including a full Trade Expo Day on Wednesday, 5 August, dedicated to showcasing your products and solutions, along with the opportunity to host your own sponsor event that evening. We look forward to welcoming you to Cairns as together we embrace transitions in this new era.
