Welcome to the AWCI Australia Cairns Conference. As we look toward 2026 under the theme Embracing Transitions in a New Era, our industry continues to evolve at a pace. Over the past year, AWCI Australia has seen membership growth, stronger national engagement, and meaningful progress in our commitment to supporting contractors and partners across the country.

In 2025, we nationalised our apprentice challenge program and thank Siniat by Etex as our naming rights sponsor for the 2025/2026 program.

In 2026, we continue moving confidently into this new era through two major national initiatives:

• The Blue Card Program, lifting capability and closing the skills & knowledge gap,
• Mission 1000, our national membership and industry activation campaign.
