DETAILS
The State Challenge will involve the apprentice preparing and constructing a technical Plastering task from drawings (using materials supplied).
State Challenges will be held:
QLD -
VIC -
SA -
TAS -
Selection Criteria:
Nominee must be an indentured apprentice with a current contract of Training or having recently complete a contract of training
Nominee must have the approval of their host employer to be involved in the Apprentice challenge
The nominee can be any age but must be in a current contract of training [ not RPL or Upskilling ]
Each apprentice must be prepared to sign an agreement with AWCI to be part of the apprentice challenge
The Apprentices who represent their State at the Australian & New Zealand Apprentice Challenge will receive.
- Return Economy Airfares
- Allowance for excess baggage for tools
- Transport to and from the airport to the conference destination
- Accommodation and meals during the Apprenticeship challenge
If you are nominated for the State Challenge the AWCI will require written approval from:
Your employer
- If you are under 18yrs your parents or guardian
- You will also need to bring your PPE and required tools with you
To enter the Challenge you must first become an AWCI Australia member (membership is free)
