Apprenticeship Challenge Nomination Form
DETAILS
The Regional/State Challenge will involve the apprentice preparing and constructing a technical Plastering task from drawings (using materials supplied).
State Challenges will be held:
TAS - Monday August 25th 2025, TAS TAFE, Hobart
WA - Friday August 29th 2025, South Metro TAFE WA, Rockingham
QLD - Wednesday September 17th 2025, NICS, Salisbury
SA - Wednesday September 17th 2025,TAFE SA, Tonsley
VIC - Tuesday September 23rd 2025, Wall & Ceiling Institute, Springvale
Selection Criteria:
Nominee must be an indentured apprentice with a current contract of Training or having recently complete a contract of training
Nominee must have the approval of their host employer to be involved in the Apprentice challenge
The nominee can be any age but must be in a current contract of training [ not RPL or Upskilling ]
Each apprentice must be prepared to sign an agreement with AWCI to be part of the apprentice challenge
If you are nominated for the State Challenge the AWCI will require written approval from:
Your employer:
- If you are under 18yrs your parents or guardian
- You will also need to bring your PPE and required tools with you

To enter the Challenge you must first become an AWCI Australia member (membership is FREE)
