 AWCIANZ OH&S sub-committee

A new sub-committee has been formed which focuses upon OH&S aspects of wall and lining work. It complements the GBMA's own safety committee which addresses the prebuilding site.

 Its role will include:

•  establishing industry positions, standards and codes of practice
•  setting up a member safety reporting (Lost Time Injury [LTI]) system
•  liasing with the committees of AWCI US and fpdc in the UK, and
•  preparing documentation for industry consumption along the lines of It’s not a board game.
