The Australian - New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 2589:2007 - Gypsum linings - Application and finishing, was released on Christmas eve, 2007.

The new AS/NZS represents a consolidation and update of previous standards. It is now a comprehensive, single document which sets the criteria for 'manufacturers, designers and users of gypsum linings with requirements for the application and finishing of such linings in rewsidential and commercial construction applications'.
